Here at Active Outreach services we take an Active approach in not only ensuring that our students an families get the very best but also ensuring that our staff get the very best too. We offer short and long term contracts & full flexibility across your working week.

An allocated Co-Ordinator
Every staff member we take on will be allocated an Area Co-Ordinator. Your Co-ordinator will liaise with you to ensure you have settled in well with your families & this rapport will continue as & when necessary to ensure you are comfortable into your role.

Regular training
Regular training or Inset days where you will get to meet the rest of the staff team, share ideas good practise ask questions gain knowledge & support & learn from others.

Appraisals
Appraisals we run quarterly and yearly appraisals during these sessions were committed to identifying your skills that you need in order to support you to make bigger contributions.

Our team is hardworking, resilient and passionate about helping our youngsters to achieve their best and release their full potential. We are seeking dedicated experienced and qualified people to work within our organization.
We currently work with students who may struggle to learn in standard educational settings, students can be autistic, ADHD, excluded pupils, young teenage mother’s, social emotional or behavioural problem pupils; it is important that you have experience working with young people of this nature and those from different cultural backgrounds. You will be confident yet assertive and will have knowledge and awareness of the different types of challenges that young people face in their adolescent years, you will be comfortable working face to face 1 on 1 or online.

Are you a people person?
Do you enjoy working with families and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, or with young people who may have faced different challenges in a standard school or educational setting?
Do you have a passion to work with these families because you believe that you can help and support them to reach their fullest potential?
Can you build secure trusting relationships with the young person in your care?
Are you able to engage the learner through a range of learning styles and different techniques can you use a play or fun based approach where necessary that enhances each learners ability?

We are also interested in people who have a background or experience as a Behaviour MentorsSports coaches or people who have worked with young offender’s, youth workers or within mental health or people who are specificallySEN trained or who have experience working with SEN children and young people.
- Salary: A great salary package however dependent upon experience& qualifications
- Location: In and out of London Surrounding boroughs
- Full-Time, Part-Time and Term-Time we have flexible working conditions
- Essential: Enhanced DBS on the update system (if you do not have this it can be applied for)
- Sector: Education/Alternative provision
We are extremely keen to find staff that teach learning through play for our younger children and staff who are able to engage students through fun activities. If successful you will work directly with learners, face to face in homes, libraries, community centres, schools, or online tutoring via zoom.
